Inicio de Carreira
Waite foi um diretor de fotografia americano, recebeu inúmeros créditos no cinema e na televisão como Red Dawn, Footloose, 48 Hrs. e The Long Riders. Durante a sua carreira ele recebeu quatro indicações ao Emmy. Em 1976 ele ganhou seu único Emmy na minissérie de televisão Captains and the Kings.
Biografia
Waite nasceu em Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Ele logo se alistou na Força Aérea dos Estados Unidos após se formar no ensino médio fez parte da unidade de Inteligência Fotográfica da Força Aérea. Ele se mudou para a cidade de Nova York, onde possuía um estúdio como fotógrafo profissional. Waite especializou-se em publicidade e fotografia de moda. Seus clientes incluíam Jaguar Cars, Glamour, Vogue, Hanes, DuPont e GQ.
Televisão
